Work Type: In personShift: 2nd Shift - 3 PM - 11 PM Monday - FridayPay: $23 - $29Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Maintenance Technician to join a growing industrial facility. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical systems, repairing machinery, and ensuring the facility's mechanical equipment remains in top working condition. The ideal candidate will have experience working with motor and heater circuits, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks and respond to equipment trouble calls.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems using schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Work with circuits ranging from low voltage to 480V three-phase.
- Remove and replace defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
- Communicate with the shift supervisor to prioritize repairs effectively.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs detailing issues, repairs made, and parts used or required.
- Keep company tools organized and in proper working condition.
- Fabricate machine guards, mezzanines, and repair parts using shop equipment such as welders, plasma cutters, torches, and grinders.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant maintenance experience.
- Electrical experience is required.
- Ability to read and understand schematics, SOPs, and safety procedures.
- Good organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capable of working independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Industrial facility setting with exposure to machinery and mechanical tools.
- Physical activities include standing, climbing, lifting, crouching, and handling tools and equipment.
- Must be able to lift and move heavy components with proper tools or assistance.
- Use of PPE required in designated work zones.
