If you have experience in operating brake press machinery and are passionate about precision metalwork, we want to hear from you.The Team Lead is responsible for safe operation, quality of product, and timely completion of products. They will be responsible for ensuring their team members adhere to company policies and procedures. The Team Lead will be required to assist with troubleshooting, operation, and training of equipment in their assigned areas.This client is a global leader in precision manufacturing and automotive solutions. With over 34 years of industry expertise, they have established themselves as a leader in delivering high-quality engineering, manufacturing, and assembly services throughout the world.Essential Functions:Responsible for safe, timely and quality production of products.Ensure appropriate staffing for assigned areaAble to set up and operate equipment.Perform the necessary material handling operation for material and steel.Train and work with new team members to meet department goals.Fill in for operators when absent, on break, lunch, etc. to keep machines running.Component inventory checks for Press Brake.Work from blueprints, drawings to meet customer specifications and tolerances.Trouble shoot machine and adjust the functions and settings of machines.Perform necessary quality inspections to ensure that parts meet guidelines.Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Compile with OSHA and MDSD Standards.Participate in 5S activities.RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED preferred, technical degree a plus1+ years of previous relevant experience in a manufacturing environmentExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalHands on mechanical skillsExperience using height gauges and calipers.Knowledge of blueprint readingAnalytical and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts desiredCompliance with all health and safety regulations, policies, and proceduresStrong attention to detailMust have regular attendance as well as willingness and ability to work overtime.If you meet these requirements, apply or call 317-887-0747 today!
