Are you a precision driven individual with a passion for machining? Our client is looking for you to join their team as a Manual Machinist to perform a key role in their manufacturing process.Job title: Mill and Lathe Machinist
Location: Twinsburg, OH
Shift: 1st shift (10 hour days Monday through Friday 6am - 4:30pm with occasional Saturdays as needed)
Salary: $25 to $30 an hour based on experience
As the Manual Machinist you would be responsible for setup and operation of manual Horizontal Boring Mills (HBM), Vertical Turret Lathes (VTL), and other manual Lathes.Duties/Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate manual control machines based on part configuration
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards, instructions, and specifications
  • Understand and comply with industry regulations
  • Read and follow blueprints or original components to manufacture new parts
  • Regularly clean machinery and equipment as needed
Skills/Qualifications
  • 2 years' experience in Mill and Lathe Machine setup and operation
  • Perform basic math, have strong analytical skills, precision and attention to detail.
  • Able to complete tasks in a fast paced job shop environment.
  • Overhead crane operation experience is a plus
  • High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Will be subject to a 10-panel drug screen and other pre-employment screening.
