PAY RATE: $80.50/hourWe are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.Job Details:Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension)Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Secret ClearanceShift: 1st Shift | 9/80 Schedule | Full-time | Overtime up to 25%Industry: Aerospace / Defense / AviationBenefits: Medical, dental, and vision (Cigna)Perks: Bonus potential + Priority access via Tier 1 supplierOpenings Nationwide: Thousands of opportunities across the U.S.Qualifying Questions:Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations?Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?Summary:Support the B-52 Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP).Develop and maintain installation and build plans for system modifications and upgrades.Create and update installation work instructions and manufacturing process documentationInterpret engineering drawings, perform data analysis, and identify areas for improvementEnsure documentation meets internal standards and government/customer specificationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support production and ensure complianceParticipate in producibility reviews and troubleshooting effortsProvide mentoring and technical guidance during project executionMaintain awareness of AS9100 D QMS requirements and ensure complianceUtilize tools such as GOLDesp, CATIAV5, IVT, MANTIS, CMPRO, and ADORequirements:Must be able to obtain a Secret ClearanceBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field9+ years of relevant experience (or Master’s +7, or PhD +4)1+ years of experience in aircraft wiring, structures, or systems installation/planningStrong understanding of manufacturing methods and fabrication processesProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)Ability to work independently and collaboratively across global teamsMust be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).Preferred Qualifications:ABET accreditation preferred3+ years of experience with aircraft modificationsExperience with EBOM/MBOM reconciliation and producibility reviewsFamiliarity with installation instruction development and manufacturing planning toolsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex issuesAbout Us:The Structures Company is a premier national aerospace and defense staffing agency specializing in contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire placements.
