- Translate large and intricate datasets into immersive, interactive visualizations that simplify user interaction.
- Conduct user research with B2B clients in civil engineering and geospatial domains to inform design decisions.
- Develop a visual-first design system including dashboards, modular UI components, and interactive maps.
- Apply gaming and interactive design principles to create engaging, responsive user experiences.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to ensure seamless integration of design with platform functionality.
- Present design concepts to stakeholders, advocating for user-centered and visually clear solutions.
- Identify opportunities for innovation in workflow, data visualization, and interactive design.
- Proven experience designing data-heavy, web-based platforms with a strong focus on visual interaction and engagement.
- B2B design experience, preferably in civil engineering, geospatial, or technical domains.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI leadership and visually compelling design solutions.
- Familiarity with game design principles or interactive systems is highly desirable.
- Expertise with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience designing interactive data visualizations with libraries such as D3.js, Mapbox, or CesiumJS.
- Excellent client-facing communication skills to present and justify design decisions.
- Analytical mindset and strong user empathy to translate complex requirements into intuitive designs.
- Experience with mapping libraries and APIs like Mapbox, Leaflet, or CesiumJS.
- Familiarity with geospatial or civil engineering platforms like GISonLINE or ProjectWise.
- Background in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Game Design, or Visual Communication.
- Experience designing for platforms handling large-scale data transfer and processing.
