We offer 100% vertical integration capabilities such as end-to-end engineering, manufacturing, and in-house logistics.We’re proud of our Tier 1 supplier legacy for manufacturing propulsion-agnostic, structural automotive components, and assemblies around the globe.To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:· Provide level 1, 2 and 3 support to the Autokiniton user community as needed to perform daily activities within Autokiniton’ s business suite of applications.·Work with various departments and business leaders to assess, design, develop, test, document and support changes needed to improve efficiency and provide business performance improvement·Provide Progress database administration, including but not limited to backup and restore, disaster recovery, linux scripting, and monitoring in a twenty-four seven manufacturing environment.·Prepare and present change control documentation for implementation of completed work prior to production installation.·Provide QAD administration, including but not limited to, Qxtend, application scripting, automated processing, user and printer management, interfaces to other business systems, and source code and data management.·Continue to develop functional knowledge in application areas of colleague responsibility (QAD, Campfire, QMS, EAM, SRM, Cyberquery, etc.).·Works on special projects as assigned by IT management.·Represent IT on internal councils and teams addressing similar topics.·Resource in supporting the company community by providing software upgrades, application security and system training.·Participates in user groups and industry forums, representing IT at meetings and conferences.·Plans and implements new procedures to improve existing processes.·Works with regional support teams in the development and testing of solutions.·Assist with analysis and design of solutions.This full-time salary-exempt role is a part of our Corporate Information Technology team and reports to the Applications Systems Developer Manager.Required experience:
  • Associate’s degree (information systems or computer science) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in systems application support.
  • High level of integrity required due to the sensitive nature of responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of the value of excellent customer service and service delivery.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment as well as standalone on a critical task.
  • Technical proficiency in Progress (10 and 11) database and appserver, Red Hat Linux, Apache, Tomcat and bar code printers.
  • Proficiency in administering key business systems: QAD, EAM, Eagle, and Qxtend.
  • Experience with ITIL, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management.
  • Proficient in key Business systems used by Autokiniton. This includes but is not limited to Onbase, QMS, SRM, Campfire, and Cyberquery.
  • Proficient in Windows Operating Systems and Citrix.
  • User sign on authentication strategies.
  • Automation Anywhere Administration and Support.
