
Manufacturing Project Engineer

- Lead capital projects: layouts, budgets, schedules, equipment/vendor selection, and implementation.
- Analyze operations to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
- Prepare technical documentation, training, and maintenance plans.
- Support safety and food safety improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including price negotiations and timelines.
- Develop and maintain equipment layouts and technical drawings (AutoCAD/3D).
- Evaluate new equipment and technology for quality, efficiency, and scalability.
- Apply lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, SMED, and other CI methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (MBA preferred).
- 4–6 years of experience in manufacturing and 3–5 years in engineering project management.
- Strong knowledge of process and packaging equipment, plant systems (HVAC, steam, wastewater), and automation.
- Familiar with OSHA, FDA, and permitting standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD/3D software, and MS Project.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
