- Lead the design phase of aviation construction projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to develop comprehensive design plans.
- Review and approve design documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure all design work complies with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
- Conduct regular design reviews and audits to maintain quality and consistency.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure design requirements are met.
- Prepare and present design proposals and progress reports to clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor design budgets and schedules, ensuring projects are completed within allocated resources.
- Identify and mitigate design-related risks and issues.
- Lead and mentor a team of design professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring professional growth and development.
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or field related to construction.
- Minimum 5- 7 years of relevant experience working on large scale projects and programs
- Prior aviation construction experience required- ideal project experience terminal expansion
- Strong organizational and management skills - ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team
- Effective presentation skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools
- Excellent communication skills
