Growing together.As a Capability Analyst/Product Owner you will be responsible for strategically and creatively thinking about how the consumer experience should work while translating a vision into reality that drives growth and value for the business. You will work with key business stakeholders to define, document, and prioritize work intakes. You will own the work assigned to you and interface with IT partners, architects, testers and other teams to deliver product changes. You must be able to identify, facilitate, and drive a business solution from idea to completion. You must have excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. You need to be tech savvy and understand contact centers. This role is aligned with OptumRx in support of the Telephony/Routing voice channel system.You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Capability Managers to understand the strategy, vision, and roadmaps for your product responsibilities
  • Understand the user experience and deliver solutions that delight
  • Owns/manages/prioritizes product backlog
  • Writes user stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Leads refinement of user stories with scrum team
  • Solicits input, requirements and clarification from business
  • Sprint planning, communication and project demos
  • Collaboration with IT on story sizing, delivery and release planning
  • Supports and/or coordinates end user testing
  • Coordinates end user communications re: releases/upgrades
  • Measures results and seeks continues improvement
  • Participate in retrospectives and complete root cause analysis
  • Provides on-call support/participates in weekly releases on a rotation basis
  • Support First Day of Business check out activities

  • 2+ years of product / capability management and/or business analyst experience
  • Call center experience in call routing, IVR and/or workforce management
  • Experience working with business leaders to improve processes & workflows
  • Experience translating business requests into technical requirements
  • Experience interfacing with cross collaborative work teams towards a common goal
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience translating customer needs into feature definition, user stories and product requirements
  • Experience creating and managing a product backlog
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Understanding of how to utilize user experience collateral such as personas, journey maps, etc.
  • Pharmacy and/or PBM experience
  • OptumRx experience
