- Collaborate with the Lead Developer, Government leadership, and cross-functional development teams to define priorities and drive agile processes.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams, government stakeholders, and end users to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.
- Support the development and maintenance of systems using technologies such as AWS, .NET, C#, Java, PHP, Linux, Windows, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle.
- Assist in the preparation of project schedules, identify and communicate dependencies, risks, and impediments.
- Contribute to requirements management, ensuring clear definitions of "done" in collaboration with customers.
- Maintain and update technical documentation and support project planning activities.
- A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and fourteen (14) years' experience as an SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Nineteen (19) years' SE experience may be substituted for a degree.
- Demonstrated experience working on software development teams with diverse technical skillsets.
- Proven ability to operate independently and collaboratively in high-visibility, mission-driven environments.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience administering systems in Windows and Linux environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with managing systems in virtualized/cloud environments, particularly AWS is preferred.
- Proficiency with Atlassian Suite tools, including Confluence and Jira is preferred.
- Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation and project schedules is preferred.
