- Develop and execute a multi-year capital improvement plan, preventive maintenance strategy, and asset life-cycle roadmap that safeguards the resort’s long-term value.
- Direct all engineering and technical operations, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life safety, pools, building automation, and elevators, ensuring systems run safely, efficiently, and without interruption.
- Oversee capital projects and renovations from concept to completion, serving as the owner’s representative to ensure projects meet quality standards, remain on budget, and are delivered on time.
- Maintain operational excellence and compliance by enforcing OSHA, EPA, ADA, fire codes, and environmental health regulations, with meticulous record-keeping and regular inspections of all resort spaces.
- Cultivate a culture of discipline and accountability within the Engineering and Landscaping teams by recruiting, mentoring, and developing talent to achieve high performance.
- Collaborate with ownership, development teams, and partner properties to align operations with the Evermore brand promise and plan future infrastructure upgrades and expansions.
- Monitor and analyze operational data and budgets to identify opportunities for efficiency, cost control, and performance improvements that support both guest satisfaction and asset preservation.
- 15+ years of engineering and facilities leadership experience, including a minimum of 5 years overseeing large-scale resort or multi-site operations that require accuracy, attention to detail, and disciplined execution.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects without error, delivering consistent, high-quality results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field required, Master’s preferred.
- Experience managing capital projects and operational strategies in high-value, technically demanding environments.
- Professional certifications preferred, including PE License, CFM, CHFE, or LEED AP.
- A methodical problem solver with the ability to work independently while upholding exacting standards.
- Able to safely lift, pull, and push up to 25 lbs.
- Visually look at a computer for extended periods.
- Must be comfortable inspecting facilities in varied conditions, including active construction zones, outdoor environments, and mechanical areas.
