This is a unique setting in that there is not only the day-to-day business but occasional private events. Having a working knowledge of classic cocktails and craft beer is a bonus.Additional responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d like to meet you.Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers.Responsibilities
  • Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
  • Attend to customers upon entrance
  • Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
  • Take and serve orders
  • Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
  • Collaborate with other restaurant servers/bartenders and kitchen staff
  • Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
  • Prepare the bar for service
Qualifications· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred· Must be able to stand continuously throughout an 8-10 hour shift· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds· Comfortable bending, climbing, reaching, stooping, and moving quickly· Must be 21 years or older according to state alcohol service laws· Proven restaurant serving or bartending experience preferred· Attention to cleanliness and safety· Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude· Responsible and trustworthy· Ability to thrive in a fast paced environmentRestaurant type:
