
Mutual Fund Financial Reporting Senior Vice President

- Oversee the Financial Administration Team, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of work products to internal and external clients, responsible for resolving technical issues, board and client reporting, timely and accurate delivery of regulatory financial filings;
- Contribute to periodic industry communications to clients, Boards, and/or Audit Committees;
- Assist in the facilitation of the Financial Administration departmental training courses as well as coordinate development of new training materials on an as needed basis;
- Participate in existing client and/or prospective client meetings, as needed;
- Monitor procedures and controls within the department;
- Provide guidance to direct report(s) and team on a regular basis;
- Solve/resolve departmental issues, e.g., special project coverage;
- Review and approve team’s work product within departmental / client guidelines, e.g., timeliness and accuracy;
- Monitor departmental and/or client Service Level Agreements and associated Key Performance Indicators and report to senior management;
- Oversee timely completion of special projects and client requests;
- Ensure appropriate staffing through successful selection and retention of associates and management staff;
- Establish objectives and performance measures, and write evaluations for direct report(s) on a semi-annual basis;
- Support and implement departmental and company initiatives;
- Participate in development and implementation of procedures to meet current and new regulatory requirements;

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business-related area or equivalent work experience. Master’s Degree preferred;
- Certified Public Accountant is helpful, but not required.
- Recommended minimum of 15 years industry-related experience, third party administration helpful, but not required;
- Familiarity with the Confluence Unity product is desirable, but not required;
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word) required;
- Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles as they relate to mutual funds and mutual fund expense management practices;
- Understanding of internal controls and procedures for financial administration activities;
