Position overview

Compensation
  • Mileage pay: $0.57–$0.67 per mile.

Equipment and freight
  • Dry‑van trailers; primary freight is no‑touch/drop‑and‑hook.
  • Fleet includes late‑model tractors such as Mack Pinnacle and Anthem.
  • Paid virtual orientation provided.
Typical duties and responsibilities
  • Operate company tractor safely and in full compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Perform drop‑and‑hook deliveries and occasional live loading/unloading as required by route assignments.
  • Complete required driver paperwork and maintain accurate electronic logs and records.
  • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report defects promptly.
  • Maintain professional communication with dispatch, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Adhere to hours‑of‑service rules and company safety standards at all times.
Schedule
  • Regional routes with regular home time; common cycles include 14/2 or 23/5.
Minimum qualifications
  • Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL‑A).
  • At least 6 months of tractor‑trailer over‑the‑road (OTR) experience within the past 12 months.
  • Employment stability: no more than 3 employers in the past 12 months and no more than 6 employers in the past 36 months.
  • No safety termination from the most recent employer.
  • No speeding violations greater than 15 mph (personal or commercial vehicle) in the past 36 months.
  • Conviction history: convictions for violent felonies are disqualifying; any probation or incarceration should be at least five years in the past.
  • Ability to meet DOT medical and regulatory requirements and to pass pre‑employment drug screening and background checks.
