This position provides administrative support duties for staff in the Organizational Development & Workforce Programs Recruitment Unit. Duties include, but are not limited to, office coordination; scheduling meetings; preparing and maintaining office records, reports, and correspondence pertaining to management staff's area of responsibility; entering, retrieving, updating and deleting information from electronic files; taking meeting minutes; keeping informed of office details to advise management; ordering office supplies; assisting in recruitment and organizational development events, conferences and career fairs; operating standard office equipment; and streaming conferences. Other administrative duties as assigned.Based on operational needs and within established limits, remote work and alternate work schedule requests for this position may be considered.Veteran employment opportunities with the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) are made possible through funding provided by the Federal Highway Administration.
