Coordinates & obtains all necessary regulatory permits. Ensures that all local, state, and national building codes and regulations and safety precautions are followed. Manages on call design professionals (house doctors), general contractors, on call contractors and construction manager partners and oversees their work. Reviews work orders and amendments from house doctors. Develops and adheres to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan. Determines needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations. Reports regularly on progress of projects to senior members of the team and informs of potential risks, delays, or issues. Manages both internal and external risks within the project's lifetime. Contribute to culture of health and safety on the project. Has ability to perform project inspection, on site, verifying that necessary inspections and testing are performed and documented. Hold project meetings as required and disseminate information and action items. Monitors contractor progress against baseline schedule. Reviews contractor change order requests. Reviews and approve contractor pay applications. Manage project turnover documents and project closeout. Ability to interpret and understand construction documentation including plans, specifications, contracts, and related addenda. Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
