Coordinate and schedule all outbound shipments in collaboration with sales and production teams.
Verify shipping documents and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare materials and paperwork for outgoing shipments.
Arrange freight with outside carriers and ensure timely deliveries.
Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
Investigate and report shortages or issues with orders.
Communicate with carriers and customers to trace or expedite shipments.
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
Support the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor with documentation and reporting.
What You Bring
High school diploma or GED (required)
1+ year of experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics
Familiarity with loading techniques, weight limits, and safety protocols
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Must be 18 years or older
