
Master Truck Technician

- Utilize advanced diagnostic computer equipment/software in the analysis, diagnosis, repair of gasoline and diesel engines and their related subsystems/components.
- Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.
- Update supervisor and computer systems on work performed.
- Follow procedures related to obtaining parts for jobs assigned.
- Assure warranty procedures are followed.
- Participate and complete Manufacturing training to obtain certifications.
- Ability to work on trucks, climbing into and out of, crawling under to make repairs.
- Ability to work safely and promote safety in the workplace.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals and electronic repair and troubleshooting manuals.
- Ability to use PC to update work order status and explain maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to explain verbally and written form the status of work orders.
- Ability to keep management aware of any concerns in the shop.
- Must be dependable.
- Strong mechanical and electrical experience.
- Strong diagnostic ability and familiarity with OEM software.
- 7+ years of experience working on gas/diesel equipment.
- Refrigeration unit experience a plus.
- CDL B, or willingness to obtain it in 120 days.
- ASE Certifications, preferred. Our goal would be to have this individual fully certified.

- For New Jersey Locations – NJ Diesel Emission Certification
- For Miami, Florida – Miami/Dade County License
