As the Manufacturing Order Processor, you will play a pivotal role in our manufacturing operations by reviewing orders, establishing job order packets, reducing waste, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your technical expertise, problem-solving capabilities, and innovative mindset will be essential in driving continuous improvement and maintaining our competitive edge.Responsibilities:
- RFQ Processing: Receive and review all customer RFQ's, prepare quote packages and ensure quotes are logged into our ERP system before being submitted for estimating.
- Sales Order Processing: Receive and review all customer PO's, compare latest quote to PO, General review of terms and conditions for special requirements and specifications. Escalate new customer T&C review to management team.
- Job Processing: Generate part routers, ensure special processing instructions are incorporated and clear to personnel.
- Customer Document Management: Work with Engineering Manager to organize, file and maintain customer drawings and related proprietary information.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in process engineering roles within manufacturing,
- Experience in production environments within automotive, machine tool, aerospace/defense and energy industries.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, machining techniques, and principles of precision engineering.
- Experience with CAD software and familiarity with CNC machining is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Ethical values and a commitment to fostering a positive work culture that emphasizes teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
