
Manufacturing Assembly Technician II (Multiple Shifts), Project Kuiper

- Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations
- Assemble and test with emphasis to detail, an assortment of avionic LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, handle and install fiber-optics, and PCBAs
- Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated
- Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems
- Identify equipment requirements, process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory
- You will independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables
- Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance
- Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (Using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc)
- Your work may include contributing to improving SOPs and safety proceduresAdditional Requirements:
- Willing to work all shifts (days, evenings, staggered shifts) overtime and weekends as needed. Estimated shift times are Day shift 4X10 6am -4:30pm Wed-Sat (one team begins at 5am) Swing Shift 4X10 5pm-3:30am Wed-Sat (one team begins at 4pm)
- Flexible working/commuting in between site locations
- Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position

We are currently in research and development but moving towards production environment.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High school degree or equivalency certificate
- 1+ years in a high traceability manufacturing environment, or relevant trade school certification
- 1+ years of hand tools experience (i.e., Calipers, multi-meters, torque wrenches)
- 1+ years working with test tools and test methods that adequately validate the system
- Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) certification/license Prior telecom (fiber optics) experience a plus
- CFOT certification or equivalent experience
- Airman or Avionic certification or equivalent experience -ASE certification or equivalent experience
- Experience in fast-paced production environment with flight hardware
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments
- 1+ years able to read, interpret and work from engineering documentation and/ or drawings
- Experience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements
- 1+ years of Electro-Mechanical Assembly, Final Integration and/or Harness Integration experience
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment
