Part Time position for PN Clinical Instructor in Miami 7757 West Flagler St.This position is on-site two or three days a week including weekends to be determined by student enrollment.English and Spanish are required.The nurse educator will supervise and evaluate Practical Nursing (PN) students in real-world clinical settings, ensuring they learn to apply classroom theory to patient care and develop essential nursing skills under supervision. The role involves direct mentorship, providing feedback, teaching proper techniques, and evaluating performance to foster competent and safe practitioners.Key Responsibilities
Supervision and Mentorship:
Guide and monitor PN students in clinical areas, acting as a role model for safe and effective nursing practices.
Skill Instruction:
Teach students proper techniques for bedside procedures and medication administration.
Evaluation:
Provide constructive feedback and formally evaluate students' clinical performance and application of knowledge.
Bridging Theory and Practice:
Help students connect classroom learning to the realities of patient care in a clinical environment.
Safety and Standards:
Ensure patient safety and uphold professional standards during student clinical activities.
Collaboration:
Work with clinical agency staff and other faculty to meet student learning needs and resolve issues.Qualifications and Skills
Education: Licensed RN or LPN
