
HR Compliance Assistant Director

- Partner with the CCO to implement, and oversee HR compliance policies and procedures.
- Lead compliance risk assessments and conduct testing to identify and address program gaps.
- Build and refine the HR Compliance Program with a strategic, cross-functional lens.
- Provide expert legal and technical advice on employment laws, contract provisions, and HR regulations.
- Serve as a compliance advisor on major business initiatives and projects.
- Mentor team members and deliver training that reinforces a culture of compliance.
- Explore automation opportunities to enhance compliance oversight and efficiency.
- Assist in SBCU compliance efforts.
- Travel occasionally as needed for business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 8+ years of relevant experience in compliance, employment law, or risk management (JD or MBA may substitute for some experience).
- Proven experience building or significantly enhancing a compliance program is highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and the regulatory landscape.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience in compliance reporting and driving cross-functional collaboration.
- Project management capabilities are a plus.
