
Residential Assistant Program Manager

- Functions as a team leader within the program and in the absence of the Program Manager. This includes modeling of appropriate intervention strategies to ensure interventions are therapeutic, supportive, and effective.
- Supervise, mentor, train, and develop Youth Support Specialists.
- Participate in evaluation of employee performance.
- Supervise all SCM incidents as they occur, provide debriefing, coaching, and training to Youth Support Specialists as needed to maintain optimal safety for residents and staff.
- Assists in treatment planning to ensure appropriate services are available to address the emotional, behavioral, spiritual, and physical needs of the client.
- Responsible for documenting resident progress, including any negative behaviors expressed, resident concerns, significant incidents, unusual occurrences and/or emergency events in a timely and accurate manner.
- Lead house shift change meeting to ensure that adequate planning is done before shift changes occur.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in a human service field preferred
- Minimum one year experience in a child-caring facility required
- Experience with recovery-based treatment plans and behaviorally oriented programs preferred
- Valid driver's license and clear driving record required
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software
- Must be available for on-call duties during emergencies, as well as have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays when necessary
