This is an entry level position that may lead to a career in skilled trades.As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for:
  • Performing general manual labor tasks, including use of hand tools and support of team members during jobs
  • Meeting daily goals
  • Identifying any hazards as observed for safety of personnel and equipment
  • Communicating issues with supervisors
  • Performing any other duties as assigned including shop clean-up
To be considered as a General Laborer, you will need:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Experience working in a shop environment or equivalent military experience
  • Dependable transportation
  • Availability to work overtime and overtime and weekends when necessary
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance record
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, and willing to learn
A successful General Laborer may also have:
  • 1 year of experience working in a shop environment or equivalent military experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience operating a hi-lo
  • Experience packing and shipping parts
  • Knowledge or hand tools
