This is your chance to work at a forward-thinking skilled nursing facility where you'll:
  • Collaborate with PTs, OTs, nurses, physicians, and dieticians to provide holistic patient care
  • Partner with a team of skilled SLPs with managerial support from an SLP
  • Deliver short-term rehab therapy aimed at functional independence and safe returns home
  • Provide restorative therapy to enhance the quality of life for long-term residents
  • Assist with specialized programs, including tube feeding weaning and cognitive therapies
  • Engage families and staff to develop impactful after-care programs
  • Gain expertise in treatment under the Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM)

This part-time, position is perfect for experienced CCC-SLPs or Clinical Fellows who are eager to grow, learn, and excel in their careers.Education and Credentials:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
  • CFs with strong clinical skills and a commitment to growth are encouraged to apply
Skills and Experience: * Strong foundation in evidence-based practices for assessment and treatment of swallowing, communication, and cognitive disorders
  • Knowledge of the Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM) and its implications for therapy
  • Experience or interest in working in skilled nursing facilities, including short-term rehab and long-term care
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including PTs, OTs, nurses, physicians, and dieticians
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient, family, and staff education
