To thrive as a Sr. IT Business Analyst, you must be a team player with an analytical mindset who is both technical and business savvy. Being proactive with strong research skills will be key in this role as the subject matter expert on SAP SD, LE, EDI and integration points with functional modules like MM, PP, FI and BI.As a Sr. IT Business Analyst with Behr, you will work closely with developers and various functional IT Analysts to identify appropriate software solutions & architecture based on the requirements and design elements contained in a system specification. High level job duties include, but are not limited to research, tool evaluation, documenting patterns and standards, defining technology strategy, technology evaluation and recommendation, solution design for complex business requirements and working with software developers/engineers through hands-on assistance as well as formal and informal training and technical development. In this role, you will rely on your experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals as well as anticipate future business needs and design for appropriate extensibility working alongside our dynamic team.Here’s what we’re looking for from you:Formal Knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 – 7 years functional SAP experience
Specialized Training or Knowledge
  • Solid understanding and knowledge of multiple platforms, like SAP, Salesforce, EDI, Java Enterprise & Cloud architectures
  • Expert knowledge of SAP SD & LE modules with proficient understanding of integration points with FI, MM and PP
  • Experience with BI reporting, queries & knowledge of data cubes
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suites and/or software application related to job functions
  • Strong understanding and experience with integration and middleware technologies & frameworks
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing complex applications that solve business needs both effectively & efficiently
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with people at all levels and with varying backgrounds in a team environment and foster/contribute to a collaborative, respectful environment on project teams & ability to function as a team lead
  • Ability to articulate change implications for any process or system solution
  • Maturity and ability to work independently in a dynamic project environment with aggressive deadlines
  • Excellent understanding of software development standards and processes
  • Ability to develop new approaches for complex designs
  • Experience with S/4 implementations is a plus.
