Primary Function: Under the direction of the Program Director, the Program Manager is responsible for the management of services and support to individuals in a residential setting. The Program Manager will also provide direction and support to the Direct Support Professionals (DSP's).Essential Job Duties:Requirements -*Provide quality HPC (Homemaker Personal Care) hours in the home as assigned.*Provide management for all aspects of service implementation for assigned caseload in accordance with each client's ISP (Individual Service Plan), including its development, assessment, and changes, ensuring that each client's needs are met with respect to health, safety, rights and all rules of the DODD.*Identifies, coordinates, and utilizes various services and resources to meet client needs which will be reflected in the client's ISP.*Maintain confidentiality and update sensitive information.
Help cover shifts that are open in all programs and/or help find coverage.
*Schedule and attend doctor appointments.*Create menus, shopping lists, grocery shop, and complete necessary errands.*Recognizing and reporting staff or client issues to the Program Director.*Available to take phone calls and answer emails in a timely manner.*Responsible for administering agency personnel and operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance.*Responsible for QA's, Audits and Program Reviews, run monthly reports, and scanning items. Review documentation and reported work of the DSP's including, but not limited to reporting time/work with detailed notes, which include the client's outcomes, medication administration records, money ledgers, program records, and complete major/unusual incident reports to ensure tasks in the ISP are being met.*Manage and maintain all reporting and documentation processes as it relates to the MRC.*Update binders and other documentation as information changes.*Manage the medication administration process by monitoring Quick Mar, ordering medications, and reviewing documentation. Scan meds as they come in throughout the month. Print monthly MARS and Physician Orders for the program binder. Complete the skills check-off for the DSP's medication administration recertification. Manage the MARS/med issues and complete any corresponding documentation for the pharmacy.
Develop and maintain a positive relationship and communicate with the clients, family, guardians, SSA's, staff and co-workers. Send appropriate documentation as necessary.
*Help to maintain a clean and attractive home environment. Responsible for the maintenance, organization, and safety of the home and the program vehicle.*Conduct staff meetings for the programs. Attend various meetings and trainings.*Supervise, coordinate, train, and develop staff. Complete all necessary paperwork.*Complete monthly receipt allocations, other fiscal paperwork, and balance bank statements. Responsible for client finances, program expenditures, leases, utilities, and staying within budget.*Maintain and document employee performance.*Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.Position Requirements:Education -*Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED), reading, writing, and oral communication skills, as well as basic math skills.Prior Experience -*Education and/or experience in social/health services or management is preferred.Physical Requirements -*Ability to engage in strenuous activities including, but not limited to lifting (at least 30 pounds), standing, walking, carrying, bending, reaching, stooping, etc.Other -*A valid license*Insured with a good driving record (4 points or less)
