What you'll do:
  • Develop and maintain web-based applications on AWS using Node.js, PHP, and Java.
  • Build and enhance REST APIs for both external and internal use.
  • Debug and resolve application issues, providing support to cross-functional teams.
  • Take part in the full web application lifecycle-from requirements gathering to post-launch support.
  • Tackle coding challenges across the stack while learning new languages and design patterns.
  • Stay on top of emerging trends, tools, and best practices in web development.
  • Be available during regular in-office hours (Monday Friday) with occasional off-hours support based on project needs.
What we're looking for:
  • Bachelor's Degree required; MS in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of frontend and backend application development experience.
  • Strong expertise in Node.js and relational databases (MySQL or similar).
  • Experience with SQL schema design, Git/Github, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Familiarity with GenAI coding tools (Cursor, Copilot) for development and testing.
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript fundamentals including DOM manipulation.
  • Preferred knowledge of Angular, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and SPA techniques.
  • Bonus experience (nice to have, not required): Symfony or other PHP frameworks, Salesforce development, Java.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities.
