- Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the heart failure segment.
- Strategic Insights: Evaluate market data and provide actionable insights to senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making.
- Competitive Intelligence: Monitor and analyze competitor activities, product developments, and market positioning to anticipate market shifts and inform business strategies.
- Structured Communications: Deliver structured communications in written and verbal form on competitors and the category, providing insights and implications to the business.
- Business Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that expand market presence and drive growth in the heart failure franchise.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain high-level relationships with key decision-makers, industry leaders, and potential partners to promote our products and services.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to top executives, highlighting market opportunities and strategic initiatives.
- Innovation: Lead initiatives to identify and evaluate new business opportunities, ensuring alignment with the organization's short and long-term goals.
- Team Leadership: Be seen as a trusted leader and subject matter expert, influencing, developing, and maintaining a highly effective team. Customize coaching style to bring out the best in team members.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional stakeholders to define and execute learning needs aligned with organizational goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years experience; 5 minimum with an advanced degree in market research, competitive analysis, or business development within the healthcare industry, with a proven track record of career growth. At least 5 years in market research, business analytics/forecasting, or competitive intelligence in Healthcare, Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, or similar industries.
- Deep experience in consumer insights
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, excellent communication and presentation skills. Expertise in identifying data limitations, interpreting discrepancies, and synthesizing multiple data sets into compelling messages.
- Ability to understand and communicate business needs effectively.
- Conducts thorough research with attention to detail, applying logic and critical thinking.
- Strong people leadership skills, capable of managing and developing teams.
- Experience working with cross-functional and global teams. Willingness to accommodate global calls and travel domestically and internationally.
