Retirement Plan Account Manager | Seattle, WAA well-regarded independent wealth management and investment advisory firm, recognized for delivering personalized and multi-disciplined financial planning and investment guidance, is seeking a Retirement Plan Account Manager.The Retirement Plan Account Manager will be responsible for providing dedicated client service and administrative support to assigned advisors and their clients. This role requires strong expertise in the retirement plan space, along with a clear understanding of each client's unique needs and requirements.Responsibilities:
Manage client meeting and reporting requirements, ensuring the advisor has all necessary materials in advance
Act as the primary liaison between clients, plan administrators, recordkeepers, and custodians
Address and resolve client service issues in a timely manner
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information, files, and summary sheets
Attend client meetings, take detailed notes, and coordinate with the advisor on follow-up and actionable items
Lead operational initiatives to improve efficiency in retirement plan processes
Uphold the highest professional standards and strict client confidentiality at all times
Work closely with team members on RFI/RFP responses and maintain a current response library for future use
Perform quality checks on client reporting to ensure accuracy and completenessRequirements:
Bachelor's degree required
5+ years of experience in the financial services industry
Strong knowledge of retirement plan design, ERISA regulations, and recordkeeping practices, including 401(k), 403(b), defined benefit, and nonqualified deferred compensation plans
Previous experience with financial and recordkeeping software, such as Morningstar, is preferred
Proven experience leading teams and achieving established goals
Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and develop staff in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Excellent leadership, coaching, and presentation skills
Strong written and interpersonal communication abilities
Proficiency with investment-related software and strong overall computer skillsThe compensation for this role includes a base salary of $100,000-$125,000, a discretionary annual bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. The actual salary within this range will be based on factors such as experience, credentials, and other relevant qualifications. There may be some flexibility on the base salary for exceptional candidates.
