Attend and listen to drivers regarding their needs or concerns relating to safety, delivery point issues, backhauls, expense reimbursement, payroll and load quality
DOT compliance, logs, random drug screening, CDL renewal, physical renewal
Driver assignment, time changes, layover accomidations, on the road break downs, backhaul vendor issues, store sweeps
Accident and Injury reporting. Smartdrive Camera monitoring and coaching/training
Communication with members on any late deliveries, delivery issues and delivery staus
Communication with drivers and backhaul department
Other duties as assigned
QualificationsKnowledge:Commerical driver, Mechanic, Supervision, DispatchingAbilities:Experience, Education and Training:Logistics, Warehousing, Shop Operations, Driving commercial motor vehicle.Licensing/Certifications:CDL, Reasonable Suspicion Training, Accident Investigation, DOT Compliance, Smartdrive, CAMS, Peoplenet.Physical RequirementsPerform bending, squatting, sitting, and reaching from floor level to six feet in height.Must be able to move throughout various buildings, conduct training at retail sites, load and unload materials and equipment.Working EnvironmentStandard office/store environment.Frequent overnight travel.Must be able to work nontraditional hours as needed (before and after normal office hours and weekends.
