Job Title Lift Truck Operator II: Calhoun, GAPosition OverviewShaw Industries is looking to hire and train Distribution Associates who will play an important role. In this role, associates will gain diverse work experiences and exposure to multiple areas of distribution. We’re looking for individuals who are ambitious, interested in learning various skills, and who enjoy problem solving.We are currently looking to fill 2nd and 3rd shift openings. No prior manufacturing/distribution experience is necessary. We are committed to creating a better future for our customers, our people, our company, and our communities.Responsibilities:Identify, retrieve, and transport materials and pallets throughout the distribution warehouse.Maintain paperwork to receive and track materials as required.Wrap and band Hard Surface materials prepared on pallets. Prepare and package miscellaneous items in boxes for shipment.Read, write and comprehend shipping documents, bin locations, and store orders.Tape and repair any damaged packaging.
