For more than 30 years, Camp Twin Lakes (CTL) has provided life-changing camp experiences to thousands of Georgia's children with serious illnesses, disabilities, and other life challenges. CTL provides week-long summer camps and year-round weekend retreats at three fully accessible and medically supportive campsites. For more information, please visit our website at .We are currently looking for a Development Intern to work in our administrative office in Atlanta, GA.CTL's Development Intern role offers a great opportunity to learn from a team of Development professionals and gain firsthand experience in fundraising, marketing, and event planning for a nonprofit organization. This role will provide assistance to the Events Team in coordinating and executing three of our signature events (Radiothon, Spin for Kids, and Partners Card) as well as other external events. In working with the Events Team, the Development Intern will have the opportunity to grow in the areas of communication, marketing, and logistical coordination. Additionally, the person in this position will learn how to draft and submit grant funding applications and reports under the guidance of our Director of Grants & Outcomes Measurement. Here, the Development Intern can flex their written communication skills to engage foundation donors and fund scholarships for our campers.This position is a paid, part-time internship, starting in May 2024 and continuing through November 2024 averaging 30 hours per week with the possibility of increased hours leading up to special events. The person in this role will report to the Fundraising Events Manager with additional opportunities to work with other members of the Development Team.
