  • Actively participate in day to day security operations of the property to ensure the safety and security of all guests, personnel and property.
  • Patrol the property and confront any situations or persons that require investigation.
  • Handle and document guest and employee incidents.
  • Assist handicapped guests.
  • Implement all policies, procedures and instructions regarding safety and security.
  • Assist in implementing preventive safety and security programs.
  • Document all incidents occurring in the hotel in connection with crime, subversions, potential liabilities and insurance requirements.
  • Assist in handling of unusual guest or employee problems, such as, but not limited to, disorderly conduct, thefts, suicides, bomb threats, employee or guest accidents, fire or safety hazards, robberies, terrorist activities, civil disturbance, power or elevator failures, medical assistance and natural disasters.
  • Assist in training related to the property’s emergency procedures.
  • Understand and enforce the key control, lock systems, alarm systems, and fire protection system.
  • Make recommendations to the security manager in safety & security and other property managers.
  • Respond properly in any emergency or safety situation.
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management and staff.
A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, ability to work evening shifts, weekends and holidays. Must be fluent in English and possess basic computer skills. A successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States. Previous security experience in a hotel environment preferred. First Responder Certification a plus.Preferred Qualifications and SkillsEducation: High School diplomaExperience: Previous Security experience in a hotel environment preferredSkills and Abilities: Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language, must have working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel,First Responder Certification a plus.Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.What to Expect:
