- Analyze current & future OBD regulations for the North American market
- Provide OBD regulatory & regulation guidance to PACCAR product development teams and suppliers
- Define OBD regulatory requirements, agency expectations & corporate policies and communicate with key stakeholders
- Review proposed powertrain architectures and diagnostic changes to assess OBD compliance impact
- Support a weekly regulatory compliance meeting to provide OBD regulation guidance to PACCAR product development teams
- Participate in agency/industry meetings (CARB, EPA, EMA, SAE, etc.) for awareness and to inform key stakeholders within PACCAR
- Comprehensive understanding of either the CARB 1971.1 or 1968.2 regulations
- Diesel / Hybrid / Zero-Emission OBD experience preferred
- Minimum 7 years of experience in either OBD regulatory, algorithm, calibration, validation or verification
- Experience in preparing and presenting technical information to management
- Experience with interpreting and documenting requirements
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Works well independently and in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Interested in actively participating in regulatory process improvement
- BS in engineering or other related science disciplines is required.
- Advanced degree preferred.
