
Inside Sales Support Specialist

- Source non-stock items and recommending similar products that are available
- Participate in customer expediting calls and meetings with Account Managers
- Resolve order discrepancies by partnering with customers, warehouse and logistics team; process RMA requests and provide resolutions to improve the customer experience
- Expedite orders to provide on-time delivery to meet or exceed the customer’s demands which includes making outbound calls to suppliers for faster delivery and resolve cost variance issues
- Prepares certificates of conformance and/or obtains documents from suppliers for products sold
- Responds to customer requests for product support documents (this includes, SDS sheets, product specification documents and product literature)
- Deadline driven follow up for customer issues relating to sales or customer order entry errors, lost shipments, missing goods, damaged goods and invoicing discrepancies
- Update external order processing platforms (e.g. Ariba, Connexium, CoupaHost)
- Assist team members with placing hot/urgent purchase orders with suppliers and confirming details of delivery with same day results
- Follow up on quotes versus orders not placed by reaching out to customers for feedback
- Assist inside sales team with large quote opportunities utilizing P21 and Excel
- Resolve contract price discrepancies (for example, failed order record imports, contract price expirations and maintaining current customer price contract files)
- Collaborate with sales, accounts payable, operations, product management, and finance to solve issues and improve customer service
- Process requests for quotations, order entry and product questions from customers.
- Provide full customer specific day-to-day interaction support when a colleague is out of the office

- Reports to the Inside Sales Manager
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic Microsoft Office knowledge with MS Excel and Word
- Basic use of MS Outlook and written fluency for all forms of communication
- Time management and prioritizing of tasks: daily, weekly, monthly deadlines
- Ability to work with distraction

- Bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus
