
Machine Operator

Monday - Thursday, 6AM - 4:30PM
Friday - Sunday, 6AM - 6:30PMPay will be $18.50 - $23.00 per hour.Here's a preview of what you'll be working on as a Machine Operator:
- Supplies materials, as specified by inventory procedures, to production department
- Adjusts machine components and machine tension and pressure according to size or processing angle of product
- Tends or operates machine(s) that fills and caps product
- Regulates machine flow, speed, and temperature
- Monitors the production line, watching for problems such as pileups, or jams
- Inspects and removes defective products and packaging material
- Counts and records finished and rejected packaged items
- Stops or resets machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to Lead Machine Operator
- Stocks and sorts product for filling and capping machine operations
- Removes finished packaged items from machine and separate rejected items
- Verifies containers are the correct weight and has the correct label and expiration date
- Packages product to customer specification
- Cleans, oils, and makes minor adjustments or repairs to machinery and equipment, such as opening valves or setting guides
- Utilizes LOTO procedures, as necessary
- Disassembles and reassembles machine for proper sanitation
- Performs Critical Control Points monitoring four times a day, or as specified, to ensure metal detector is working properly
- High School Diploma or GED; AND
- 2 years of experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing facility
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently; AND
- Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and fill out various forms and controlled documents
