In this important role you will partner with Program & Senior Management and program team to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance by facilitating integration across all functions in support of Lockheed Martin Mission Systems & Weapons (MSW) Business Area.Responsibilities include:
  • Developing compliant Integrated Program Schedules which accurately validate the flow, budget, and resources required to execute contractual scope and overarching program strategy.
  • Provides the program with time-phased critical path predictive analysis and actionable planning data and develops recommended solutions to programmatic execution conflicts.
  • Ensures all commitments are tracked, monitored and statused.
  • Prepares/coordinates the development of planning artifacts for effective schedule performance management.
  • Ensures vertical and horizontal integration, and cost/schedule integration between all schedules and other program artifacts.
  • Devises modeling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline, and to perform schedule risk assessments.
  • Utilizes performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance.
  • Regularly contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. Considered an emerging authority in field within the organization.
  • Develops solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation. Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives.
  • Performs work without appreciable direction, ability to exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
  • Ability to lead, train, and mentor junior planners in support of multiple programs.

  • Experience with networked schedules, integrity checks and critical path methodology
  • Experience with Schedule Performance Management Techniques, e.g., Earned ValueManagement, EIA-748 requirements
  • Experience with DI-MGMT-81861 Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR); Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report (IPMDAR) DI-MGMT-81861B/C requirements
  • Experience with Schedule Risk Assessment process and tools
  • Experience in team coordination in an Integrated Product Team environment
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
