Pay Rate: $60.00 – $70.00 per hour (W2 or 1099 options available)About the Role:Our client is seeking an experienced EDI Lead Application Developer to drive the development, support, and optimization of EDI systems. In this leadership role, you will manage a team of application developers, ensuring the smooth design, implementation, and integration of new EDI solutions across key business areas.If you're a hands-on leader with deep Oracle experience and a strong understanding of healthcare, HR, or financial systems—this role offers a fully remote opportunity to lead mission-critical projects with impact.Key Responsibilities:Lead a team of 5 application developers focused on EDI modules and related system functions.Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration and delivery of EDI solutions.Provide day-to-day technical and functional support for end-users and stakeholders.Design, code, debug, test, and document both in-house and vendor-customized applications.Analyze and optimize business processes to ensure alignment with application functionality.Develop and support system interfaces, integration points, and middleware distribution.Train end-users on system features, reporting tools, and EDI functionality.Manage vendor upgrades, patches, and testing cycles to ensure uninterrupted service.Develop system documentation, user manuals, test plans, and internal technical guides.Troubleshoot and resolve critical path workflow and data throughput issues.Act as a Subject Matter Expert and primary point of contact for EDI-related development.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field.7+ years of experience supporting applications in healthcare, finance, or HR environments.5+ years of hands-on Oracle programming and report-writing experience.5+ years of experience with X12 EDI processing methodologies and file structures.2+ years of experience leading development or project teams.Preferred Qualifications:9+ years supporting enterprise applications in healthcare, finance, or HR.7+ years Oracle development experience.4+ years leading or mentoring project teams.Why Join This Opportunity?100% remote work with a mission-driven clientHigh-impact leadership role with autonomy and visibilityOpportunity to lead complex technical projects with real-world impactApply today and join TEEMA in delivering strategic EDI solutions for a high-performance enterprise!
