- Position Title: Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Long Term Care
- Job Type: Travel/Contract (locum tenens LPN)
- Healthcare Setting: Long Term Care (LTC)
- Location: Honokaa, Hawaii 96727 (Big Island nursing jobs)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (September 22, 2025 December 22, 2025)
- Shifts: Varied 8-hour shifts (Days: 7:30am3:30pm, Evenings: 3:00pm11:30pm, Nights: 11:00pm7:30am), including weekends and holidays; OT rotation may be required
- Hours per Week: 40
- Active Hawaii Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (must be valid by start date)
- Proof of flu vaccination or facility-approved medical/religious exemption prior to contract start
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar healthcare setting
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills
- Administer medications and perform skin treatments in accordance with nursing standards
- Conduct patient assessments and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide specialized care including nebulized treatments, wound vac care, CPAP care, and gastrostomy tube care
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold facility and state healthcare standards
