We offer competitive market pay and opportunities for bonus depending on great work performance (bonuses only apply for Full Time).Comprehensive Employee Benefits: Full-Time employees are eligible for various plans for medical, dental, and vision insurance.Lab Assistant IIIPosition Summary:Performs blood specimen collection, specimen receipt and distribution of laboratory specimens; may perform CLIA waived laboratory tests. May process anatomic pathology and cytology specimens; assists pathologists and Histotec's, as needed. May supervise or lead, lab assistant I and II positions.Completes prioritization, receipt, registration and distribution of specimens. May have responsibility for send out/reference lab shipping, tracking and billing. May perform and result waived testing. May assist with processing of anatomic pathology specimens including preparation of microscopic tissue slides, staining and specimen management.Position Qualification:
High school diploma or equivalent.
3 years of laboratory experience.
Associate's degree in laboratory or medical related field from an accredited institution preferred.
Basic laboratory computer/lab information system experience preferred.
Required Licenses/Certifications:
Phlebotomy Certification where state law requires.
Completion of formal phlebotomy training program and/or national phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ANP, ASPT or similar preferred.
Communication Skills:
Ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally with all levels of the organization.
Must be able to pass Background and Drug Test screenings.
