Our client is manufacturer of electromechanical components serving the heavy truck industry. They have strong relationship with the top OEM's in the industry and established quality and engineering teams. They've been growing steadily the past 5 years and have acquired new customers in business to drive revenue and continue to grow talent.
  • Oversee all quality operations at the site near Joliet
  • Prepare and conduct internal IATF 16949 audits
  • Delegate duties to junior engineers and technicians
  • Work directly with customers to discuss reports and non-conformances
  • Lead corrective actions through Root Cause Analysis methods
  • Generate documentation and standards for new products
  • Work with supply chain team to provide updates to customers on lead times, recommend alternatives

  • 2+ years experience in quality
  • Background in electronics manufacturing
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 or AS9100
  • Experience with New Product Development
  • Strong communication skills, experience with customers
  • Degree in engineering or related field preferred
  • Experience leading and mentoring engineers
