The sky is the limit for employees like you!The Advance Group has partnered with a global solar panel manufacturing company in Perrysburg, Ohio who is looking for Test Support Technicians in their Research and Development department. Technicians are responsible for running test and documenting data for solar panel research.Duties for the Test Support Technician positions:
  • Loading and unloading machines with large solar panels
  • Setting up tooling and operating water jet machines
  • Use digital calipers and other measuring devices to measure glass breakages
  • Troubleshoot tool/process issues and implement system improvement to achieve performance goals
  • Visually inspecting solar panels and document any changes or problems with the process
  • Utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel to document data that was discovered during the testing phase
  • Safely clean and move materials and broken glass if needed
  • Notify supervisor of any machine malfunctions or glass breakage
Requirements for the Test Support Technician:
  • 1-2yrs of solid work history in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent attendance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Forklift experience is a plus
  • Quality inspection experience preferred
  • Must be able to pass a drug and background check
  • Ability to work well in a small team
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis
  • Must be able to use hands to grasp, carry, lift, and feel objects as required
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to stand, bend, and do repetitive lifting
  • Safety first mindset
Shift for the Test Support Technician:
  • 1st shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
  • Voluntary overtime offered on occasion
Pay for the Test Support Technician:
  • $20/hr
