The successful candidate will both lead and support several large contract efforts and portfolios and will be responsible to negotiate, administer, extend and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts. This person will serve as an authorized and empowered representative for the Company and as the interface with customer buying representatives and, as such, will be responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives. This will involve the coordination of solutions to contractual issues and customer concerns related to Company performance across various business groups within Aeronautics. The candidate will ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions. Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Provide contracts leadership on highly complex capture and execution efforts
- Proposal preparation and review
- Identifying and mitigating execution risks
- Participate in strategy development
- Data rights and IP strategy guidance
- Day to day contracts administration
- Customer relationship maintenance and support
- Collaboration across multiple functional disciplines including supply chain, program management, business management, engineering, and estimating and pricing
- Maintain communication to ensure timely contract execution
- Organizes and maintains contract documents
- Administering IWTA management and guidance
- Travel to support customer meetings and industry days as required
- Collaboration with executive leadership to align strategy for program growth
- Support of executive presentations to include INARs and EPP's
- Ensuring contract compliance throughout life of the effort

- Must be a US citizen. The candidate must be able to obtain an interim Secret security clearance prior to starting. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Special Program access.
- Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college in a related discipline, or other combined degree and related experienceDesired skills- Intellectual property knowledge
