- Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the brand and The Irving customer experience standards.
- Greet customers including answering phones, provide clients with the highest level of customer service, demonstrated through a courteous demeanor, and outstand service.
- Prepare a variety of foods according to customers' orders or supervisors' instructions, following approved procedures.
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages and package take-outs if needed.
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain food preparation and serving areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and work surfaces to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
- Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, refrigeration, and another kitchen equipment.
- Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.
- Handle, store, and rotate all food products and supplies according to The Irving policies and procedures.
- Wash, mix, peel and/or cut various foods to prepare for cooking or serving.
- Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers, load/ unload dishwashing machines.
- Train and supervise new retail workers if necessary.
- Assist in keeping the maintenance of the store and stocking shelves as needed.
