Job Posting Summary**$5,000 Sign-On Bonus offered, if hired!**Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to our PET/CT Scan department at Baptist Downtown, located in Jacksonville, FL. This Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for providing patients with radioactive medication and operating imaging technology to track the radiation within the patient’s body. Their duties include sterilizing syringes, preparing patients for a scan, and processing image reports that indicate the presence of disease. This is a Full-time, day shift opportunity, Monday - Friday, 8:30 am-5pm, with an on-call rotation every 8 weeks and a holiday coverage rotation as needed.This Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for the following:
  • Performing high-quality diagnostic procedures.
  • Knowledge of the State of (and adherence to) Florida rules and regulations regarding Radiation Control/Radioactive Materials.
  • Protecting patients, self, and others from unnecessary/excessive radiation exposure.
  • Complying with mandatory education and health requirements.

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
  • Licensed Nuclear Medical Technologist Required
