  • Collect specimens from patients of all ages using various collection devices.
  • Monitor orders and collection lists assuring timely collection.
  • Perform waived testing procedures, culture set up and assist in specimen processing.
  • Organize, restock, and clean outpatient drawing area and all carts, trays and hand-helds.
Requirements of this position include:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Completion of phlebotomy course or have one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, lab staff, physicians, nursing staff and other related personnel.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
