
Injection Mold Tech - 2nd Shift

- Should have knowledge of basic injection molding machine operation.
- Should be mechanically inclined.
- Must show good attendance history.
- Must have a willingness to learn and listen --- and ask questions.
- Must be willing to use computers in the performance of their job.
- Must be teamwork oriented.
- Must be willing to be exposed to oil and grease in the performance of their duties.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Must successfully complete both forklift and Crane classification training and obtain a valid operator license.
- Must be willing to take part in various training classes sponsored by the company.
- Must understand, complete, and comply with the LOTO training/procedures as required.
- Must have effective communication skills.
- Must have a good understanding of proper hook-up of hydraulic, electrical, and water lines in the performance of removing and setting molds.
- Removal of die to include disconnection of services prior to the placement of a new die.
- Set and secure die to platens for production
- Must have basic understanding and troubleshooting of the material handling system as well as basic troubleshooting skills. Able to perform daily maintenance on the material handling system without supervision.
- Must demonstrate good understanding of troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to injection molding machine problems.
- Must demonstrate good understanding of troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to mold tooling problems.
- Must also be able to process and set-up processes for various jobs without the eDart systems or other technologies - must have the ability to build processes from scratch.
- Must possess good leadership skills and abilities.
- Must meet all requirements from Grade 3
- Must know how to use, where applicable, the eDart system for startup and monitoring processes, and possess basic troubleshooting skills in determining process variances.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of proper hook-up of hydraulic, electrical, and water lines in the performance of removing and setting molds.
- Must have a thorough understanding of the material handling system as well as basic troubleshooting skills. Able to perform daily maintenance on the material handling system without supervision.
- Must demonstrate basic understanding of troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to injection molding machine problems.
- Must demonstrate basic understanding of troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to mold tooling problems.
- Must be ready and willing to train other Injection Technicians in lower Grade.
- Must meet all requirements from Grade 2
- Must be thoroughly knowledgeable on how to use, where applicable, the eDart system to startup, troubleshoot, and monitor plastic injection molding processes.
- Must complete the Paulson Training available through the Dayforce system.
- Must also be able to process and set-up processes for various jobs without the eDart systems or other technologies - must have the ability to build processes from scratch.
- Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to injection molding machine problems.
- Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to mold tooling problems.
- Must possess excellent leadership skills and abilities.
- Must be ready and willing to train other Injection Technicians in lower Grades
