Job Overview – Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA):
Compensation: $70,000 – $90,000/year
Location: Flint, MI
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Full-Time)Support individuals and families as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with our client in Flint, MI. Conduct functional behavior assessments, design interventions, and train staff and caregivers for effective treatment. Work primarily with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and challenging behaviors, with opportunities to support other cases in home, community, and center settings. Ideal for BCBAs with strong assessment skills, behavior modification experience, and a collaborative approach to care.Responsibilities as the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA):
  • Behavioral Assessment & Planning: Conduct FBAs and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans to address client needs.
  • Intervention & Training: Design behavioral interventions and train staff, technicians, and caregivers on implementation and management strategies.
  • Monitoring & Adjustment: Track treatment integrity and client progress, making data-driven adjustments to improve outcomes.
  • Collaboration & Direct Support: Work within an interdisciplinary team and provide direct intervention in home, community, or center-based settings.
  • Oversight & Compliance: Supervise intervention delivery, ensuring adherence to protocols and providing observation and consultation as needed.
Qualifications for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA):
  • Education: Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field.
  • Licensure & Certification: Must hold a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification and Michigan Behavior Analyst license, maintaining both to remain employed.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of clinical experience with children on the autism spectrum, with experience supporting challenging behaviors preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with assessment tools including ADOS-2, ADI-R, SCQ, MCHAT, ABLLS-R, and V-MAPP.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of behavioral intervention strategies, treatment plan development, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in diverse environments.
  • Other Requirements: Valid Michigan driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation required.
