Position SummaryThe Level 3 Press Brake Operator will use a press brake to bend, shape, cut, and manipulate sheet metal and metal plates.Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities· Operates a press brake to manufacture tools, equipment, and other components from sheet metal or metal plates. Prepares, sets up, and adjusts press brake as required by product plans and production schedules.· Ensure that there are sufficient raw materials available.· Measures and aligns materials to be used.· Inspects products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.· Performs routine maintenance on the press brake.· Set stops on machine beds, change dies, and adjust components.· Clean and lubricate machines and maintain a clean work area.· Able to recognize, clear and reset all press alarms.· Able to assist and train less experienced operators.· Able to plan work over multiple presses based on the schedule.· Follow the scrap procedure.· Operate forklift to move materials.· Performs other related duties as assigned.Critical Skills & Knowledge· Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate press brake controls.· Ability to follow instructions.· Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans.· Basic computer and math skills.· Ability to problem-solve.· Strive for continuous improvement in processes and procedures.· Strong communication skills· Leadership capabilitiesMinimum Qualifications· High school diploma or equivalent required.· Minimum of 5 years of Press Brake ExperiencePhysical Demands· Physically able to operate the press brake.· Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.· Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:
